Lights Out In Tokyo - Live
Released on vinyl for the first time.
Since forming in 1969, melodic hard rockers UFO had been releasing a new album virtually every year across the next decade and a half. A seven-year silence following 1985’s ‘Misdemeanor’ LP ended when founder members Phil Mogg (vocals) and Pete Way (bass) formed a new line-up of UFO, joined by Laurence Archer (guitar) and Clive Edwards (drums) for 1992’s comeback, ‘High Stakes & Dangerous Men’.
Embarking on a world tour, it made sense for UFO torecord their date at Club Citta, Kawasaki in Japan on June 20, 1992. UFO had always enjoyed a large
following in Japan, who were not only rewarded with ‘Running Up The Highway’, ‘Borderline’ and ‘She’s The One’ from the new ‘High Stakes & Dangerous Men’ record, but plenty of UFO classics too, including ‘Love To Love’, ‘Only You Can Rock Me’, ‘Lights Out’, ‘Doctor Doctor’, ‘Rock Bottom’ and ‘Shoot Shoot’.
