Since its formation in 2023, DVTR has shaken up the Canadian punk scene, racking up glowing reviews, explosive live shows, year-end best-of lists and various back-patting awards with its 12-minute debut EP “BONJOUR”. Somewhere between the B-52s and Jay Reatard’s DIY punk, the destructive duo spews its bile over fast-paced music that’s often surprising, sometimes lopsided, but always cathartic.
